The Nkandla Report

Who on earth would build such a huge house using the states
money, I mean did the President think he was going to get away with it ? I did
not think so. As a leader, the President
was not being transparent by denying and not acknowledging that he was indeed
aware of the upgrades that were taking place at his homestead.
The President stole R247 million, tax money that
was initially supposed to be used to build schools, new/renew roads, hospital
and aid job creation. This was very selfish of him and displayed immense greed
on top of the benefits and privileges he is entailed to I believe he did not
need upgrades to his home, it is the last thing that is expected from a leader of
a nation.
I am telling you that the President abused his power by
taking from people who put him in that position in the first place, I say that
it was wrong of the President to choose not to admit to stealing the money .What he did was unethical and was more
than just a security upgrade, this is pure corruption nothing more and nothing
less.
I don’t understand why government management receives the
amount of privileges and benefits that they do. They certainly don’t need it as
much as the citizens of this country. Poverty is at a high rate in South Africa
and surely the President is aware of this issue. Instead of investing money
into schools and proper health care especially in the rural areas, he decides
to build a mansion, and for what? How can leader live with himself in his
luxurious lifestyle while his people, the people that gave him that position,
are suffering? He needs to make some
changes by implementing the plans that he’s always promising to deliver. Or
maybe a new leader, someone with a better understanding of what a leader is,
should be put in Jacob Zuma’s place.
firstly I would like to complement your blog layout it is really good but I dont agree with your opinion MR ZUMA didnt ask for an upgrade, so dont say he stole money if he stole if he would be behind bars as we speak
ReplyDeleteThank you Sbomgaumusa for your complement as well as you comment but, if Zuma did not ask for an upgrade why is there an Nkandla and I say he stole the money because research shows that no one gave it to him he took and that is regarded as stealing, he is not behind bars because he has not acknowledged that he was in the wrong. Have an awesome day.
ReplyDeleteZuma has showed over and over again that he doesnt belong in the presidency chair but people still vote for him and as for the comment of the fellow blogger above, imagine how bad it would look if the president of the country was behind bars for stealing the country's money hence why he hasn't even been reprimanded.
ReplyDeleteThank you, for your comment Gcina and I totally agree with you our president does not deserve his seat as President of SA reason being that he is always involved in corruption which is setting a bad example for our country.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog. I do agree with you saying that the president stole the tax payers money. And he had to have known about it. i mean you cant tell me you didn't notice your house being upgraded
ReplyDeletePreach sister preach, I mean what were the presidents wives saying while Nkandla was being constructed? or are they telling me they also did not know about it.
ReplyDeletePresident Jacob Zuma is just one person i'd like to see and ask him "how do you sleep at night"? He does not even upgrade his community first to at least not stand out alone with that palace. The state must change that into a hotel and generate money for South Africa.
ReplyDeleteI am honestly disappointed with our president what he did was very selfish and unforgivable ,and he has to own up to what he has done in Nkandla
ReplyDeleteBuhle you deserve a virtual chocolate because it shows that he does not care for anyone but himself I mean how can a huge palace stand in the middle of a rural area it shows that he did not think things through.
ReplyDeleteSamke we have the same thing in common he should own up to his mistake and apologise to the people of South Africa for his selfishness.
ReplyDeleteThe big question is, when is he paying back the money. It will take time for the president to admit that made a mistake. This whole shenanigans must just come to an end
ReplyDeleteAya you my inspiration we want the money or he must simply step down from his presidency position I mean that money can actually help the county a lot.
ReplyDeleteThe money can be put to good use.
DeleteI agree with everything you wrote the tax must be paid back our country doesnt have money to pay for our tution fees yet he has money to build an empire in nkandla he must bring back our money
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't have said it better Ntoki that money would have funded so many students that are now sitting at home because of funds.
